Shamoo

Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Make a photograph outdoors without an obvious horizon line.”

I took a little trip out to Washington Park in Anacortes today, what a cool little place! When I got home and looked at the photo’s, I knew I had to use this image as…I saw Shamoo! Can you spot him?

Anyway, playing around again with HDR…think I am starting to get the hang of where I want to be, still need some polishing touches but, getting there! Enjoy…

  1. What I see to the right of the frame is something that reminds me a little of a river monster’s head, and a little more to the right of that what could be its hump – except it’s a different colour 🙂

To the left of Shamu I see some contours that brings to mind a Herrerasaurus. What a creature-rich image! Nice!

  2. Great shot, love the flying Shamu! We used to have a Sea World here in Cleveland, and since it’s too cold to keep the orcas here all winter they actually flew them out every year. We used to watch them haul them out on the local news. Hadn’t thought of that in years, but it immediately came to mind when I saw your cloud Shamu!
