Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Make a photograph outdoors without an obvious horizon line.”
I took a little trip out to Washington Park in Anacortes today, what a cool little place! When I got home and looked at the photo’s, I knew I had to use this image as…I saw Shamoo! Can you spot him?
Anyway, playing around again with HDR…think I am starting to get the hang of where I want to be, still need some polishing touches but, getting there! Enjoy…

Framer. Defininte framer. Gorgeous!
Your HDR is getting very impressive! I found him too btw! Without reading the others comments beforehand ;).
What I see to the right of the frame is something that reminds me a little of a river monster’s head, and a little more to the right of that what could be its hump – except it’s a different colour 🙂
To the left of Shamu I see some contours that brings to mind a Herrerasaurus. What a creature-rich image! Nice!
I did spot Shamu (and his cousin doing a flip) amongst clouds 😉
Nice HDR shot by the way.
Thanx Sasi, it’s funny what we see after we capture the image.
Great shot, love the flying Shamu! We used to have a Sea World here in Cleveland, and since it’s too cold to keep the orcas here all winter they actually flew them out every year. We used to watch them haul them out on the local news. Hadn’t thought of that in years, but it immediately came to mind when I saw your cloud Shamu!
Wow, what a cool story Jim, that must have been an interesting sight to see!
great shot…great sky….where do you geht your daily shoot assignment from?
Thank you, I get the assignments from The Daily Shoot.
Good shot, and nice use of HDR. If you look to the right of Shamu I think he has a smaller pal jumping the other way.
Good catch on the name! 😛 Yea, there is a second little guy jumping the other direction, nice catch again!
Missed you at work today! Great shot…I really love the sky and – I think I see him in the clouds?? 🙂
Thanx, I am glad I got the passport app sent off. 😀 Yup, and as Mike mentioned, it looks like there’s another off to the right.
