A shot I took early in Feb while in Seattle. This is the Seattle Public Library which, if you ask me, is a killer looking building! While this is not a “true” HDR image, I did throw it into Photomatrix Pro and processed the single RAW file to get this effect.
I entered this into a friendly competition yesterday and so far (around noon’ish PST), it’s sitting in 6th place out of 49 entries. Not too bad considering the version I >>posted<< had some chromatic aberration on the left building. I SO can’t believe I didn’t see that, oh well, lesson learned! Enjoy…
Update: The image ended up in 4th place! 😀

Very cool!
Nicely done. I have done that type of “processing” myself, I’ve experimented with Oloneo for single image shots to process . Great work!
I will have to check that out, thanx.
Very nice! Good luck in the competition! Keep us posted!
Thank you Morgan, this image placed 4th and >>Calm<< placed second!
I really like this – dramatic and futuristic. I especially like the limited colour palate.
Thanx JP! 😀
Very nice architecture shot. Lots of geometric elements to keep the eyes busy and I think those breaking up clouds seems to add a bit of mood to this shot.
Nice work David.
Thank you very much Sasi, I love the lines (as I am sure you knew that)!

Thank you for the stopping by, there’s an interesting Wiki article about it >>here<<.
Thanks much.I will read it thoroughly.
Good shot – looks like some futuristic city from an episode of Star Trek.
Hmmm, I am thinking more like Star Wars (I was always a SW fan over Trek)! Thank you Mike.
Amazing shot David. Interesting processing. Love the perspective and the dramatic sky.
Thanx Emily, glad you like it! With such an interesting building, how could one not go with post processing as I have? 😛
Nicely done!
Thank you very much Angelina.
The perspective is awesome leading into that striking sky. It’s a great photo, caught my eye right away. You’re a winner with me!
Awww, thank you so much Martina! I still can’t believe I didn’t catch the CA in the submitted version, oh well, live and learn! 😀
Nice composition. Very dramatic.
Thank you Mike, I was going for a dreamy/dramatic (drastic?) look. 😀
