Yesterday was a great day. Not only did we have blue skies in the Seattle area, but I got to meet a few fellow WordPress bloggers! Emily, Jolene, Mike and I started off the day by having some grubbing Dim Sum then spent the rest of the afternoon walking around Seattle, somewhat acting like tourists by, well, by taking pictures! I know I had a blast and can’t wait for our next gathering!
The Gum Wall is in Post Alley under Pike Place Market in Seattle. Apparently, it’s one of the top five “germiest” tourist attractions (wonder why…bleh). More pictures to come from the day, enjoy…

That’s so awesome that you guys got together! Your shot of the American flag and Emily’s of the Canadian are both great!
Thank you Morgan, I know I had a great time and am looking forward to our next meet. 🙂
I just saw something of this on Jolene’s blog…
I remember playing with gum as a child, but for some reason now this seems very unhygienic 🙂
Nice shot!
It’s a rather interesting place. When I was there I didn’t even think of all the germs floating around!! 😛
colorful and bizarre!
Thank you Sheila for your comment, I don’t think I did the alley justice, next time eh?
It’s really interesting to see the different perspectives of our photos from the same scene. It was a great day! What a pleasure to meet you, Jolene and Mike. 😀
I love the different perspectives! Can’t wait for our next meet up. 🙂 It was great to finally meet you and Mike, you guys are great.
I’m jealous! No, not of the gum… that you and Jolene did a photo walk together, wish I lived close to you guys. 😦 -Kim
I think at times Jolene probable wishes she didn’t live so close…muahaha!! Thank you for the comment Kim!
I can’t believe it! There is such a wall.
I know, crazy isn’t it!
Interesting place…
Very interesting…and a little gross (certainly best not to think about it when you are there)! 🙂
One of these days I want to see a gum wall for real – my inner high-schooler is seriously impressed! That sounds like a pretty good day to me.
It was an interesting little alley for sure! We (I think it’s safe to say this for the group) had a blast!!
Interesting gum wall art. Nice photo. I just saw Jolene’s post of you taking a photo. It’s great that you all got to meet and do a shoot together.
Thank you Martina, I’ll have to say the flag caught my eye. I know I can say that I had a great time meeting up with fellow bloggers, really looking forward to more! 😀
It was a great day. You are a braver man that I, David. There was no way that I was going to put myself or my camera that close to the gum wall.
Hahaha, thank god I didn’t topple over into the wall!! It was a great day, thanx for meeting up with us. 🙂
You didn’t post the Canadian flag??
Nope, I am working on that image to see if I can salvage it (too Many things I don’t like about it). 😦
I messed up on the American flag but got a nice shot of the Canadian flag. I’ll post it just for you David. 😉
That’s a lot of gross stuff 😉
I think we missed it when we visited Seattle back in 2001..no regrets though..LOL
Lol, it is an interesting sight Sasi. ;P
Yeah, I’m with Mike on this one. Ick! Nice shot of the ick, but ick nonetheless! 😀
🙂 It does make for an interesting shot eh?
That. Is. Gross. (but I do like the flag in the middle of your shot!)
Yeah, just slightly gross when you stop and think about it. When you’re there, it’s oddly not that…yuck! Now of course, I didn’t touch the wall….
