Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Illustrate one of the various meanings of the word tag today in a photograph.”
So yea, there I was today wondering what to shoot. Tagging on the side of a train car? Tag from an article of clothing? I then thought about a post Emily had called “Tea Time” and thought that would be fun, a tag from a bag…a tea bag! πΒ Enjoy…

Lovely shot. π
Thanx, I love it when one can consume the subject! π
Nice placement of the tea cup…I like your interpretation. Plus, I just really love tea. π
Thank you Jolene, isn’t there just something cool about having a hot cup of tea after a long day of work?
Is it just me that giggles thinking of you drinking tea out of that pretty, dainty, teacup? π Great shot David, as always! You’ll have to show me your set up for these some day soon!
Hahaha, hey now! π Thank you Cassie and I would be happy to show you sometime. π
Lovely one David, I like the crisp clean look, and the prefect reflection!
Thank you Michael, I really dig the reflection. Thinking about it now, perhaps having the tag in the reflection would have been a nice touch. Oh well, live and learn yea?
Nice work David. Simplicity at it’s best.
I think what makes this a great shot is the reflection.
Thank you Sasi! π
Nice capture particularly the reflections
Thank you, I’ve had a fun time with the reflections lately…hmmm, wonder what I should do next. π
I love what you do with reflections, and I would have never thought of that. Great shot!
Thank you very much Morgan!
Very Nice David. Glad I was able to help. π I like your choice of flavor and color tag. It adds a nice contrast to the red roses.
Thank you Emily! One of the best parts of this photo was…I got to have some tea after!
Lol… I drank the tea after shoot too. It’s one of the easiest food photography subject to shoot. I didn’t have to rush for fear it would melt or wilt.
Great shot David, I love the reflection! I scrounged up an old piece of Plexi today, I’m going to attempt some similar reflection shots in the coming days. I may be coming to you for some tips! π
Hi Jim, I hope the reflection shots you are going to attempt work out well for you! They can be challenging at times, but are fun to to shoot! You are more than welcome to ask anything, just hope I will be able to help! π
