Perhaps I should explain why this is called Yesteryear! Simply put, I was gothic for many many many years (perhaps too many for my parent’s liking) and most of my shoes/boots were pointed!
I received this origami boot recently and it brought a smile to my face as it reminded me of a pair of boots (which I still have mind you) less the buckles. If you are wondering, no, I do not have the mad master origami skills to make this! 😛

and I am having a hard time picturing the artist behind these photographs gothic, haha. It just doesn’t seem to match. Perhaps you need some more pictures involving homemade flamethrowers, and your children with some dark guyliner. 😛
