Today’s The Daily Shoot’s assignment is: “Make a photograph of a beautiful simple shape, such as an egg, today. Utilize lighting and focus to make it sing.”
Not much to say today, it was a long long day. I tried using bubbles (you know, the kind you get at weddings)…yea, they didn’t turn out so well. The crazy thing about me is, I will go back to those darn bubbles and make em work! Muahahahaaaa….

Okay, I checked out the photo in Flickr’s lightbox and it looks so much better! Check it out by >>clicking here<<
This is wonderful. I love its simplicity as well as the minimal use of rich color against the black. Elegant and mysterious.
Thank you, did you check out the Flickr’s Lightbox version? Personally I think the “Save” or upload (okay, compression) is better on Flickr than WP. ๐
I’m simply in love with this one!! It has something mesmerizing to it! Well done! ๐
Thank you so much for your awesome comment! I love reading when my photos invoke feelings (was that too sappy?)!
I like the deep red color on this one – simple composition that works well with the dark – I would have liked to see more of it…
Thank you Christos, I agree that it’s a tad dark but I think it works. ๐
Bubbles are very difficult, I’ve been trying for a while as well ๐ฆ I like this shot, it’s different and very cleanly done, although slightly too dark for my liking.
Bubbles…man…I will capture them as well as those dang elusive birds… ๐
Yup, flickr version is a bit brighter. I like how that one turned out.
Thanx Jolene. I actually really like this photo (even though it is a tad dark).
I notice that my shots don’t look at bright on WordPress sometimes. Also, the magentas and reds tend to be exaggerated. I’ll check out your flicker when I’m done here…
Hmm, I like the subtleness of this shot. I first viewed it on my phone, and I couldn’t make out what it was. Now that I see it big, it’s kinda cool.
